There are many pieces of art featuring painters. Examples of which are:
The Greeting by Karolina Larusdottir. This is a large work representing Icelandic life although Karolina now lives in Suffolk. Her work is owned by The Queen, The Vatican and the british museum to name a few.
The Wave by Anthony Francis. This is a bold and colourful piece made in silicon. Anthony is a Royal academy graduate.
Local artist Glen Toner has three works on the staircase. These are portraits of local subjects.
John Virtue's black and white landscape is next to the reception desk. He only works in monochrome as he considers the use of colour as ' a distraction.' He was the sixth Associate at the National Gallery.
