Kerry begins her Suffolk Mini Break at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel, indulging in its impressive views over the yachts moured in Ipswich harbour, and the Hotel's love of art and curious. Then onwards to enjoy the fun of the latest acquisition, The Pier at Southwold. A Great British tradition for sure, but venture out a little further and things get more interesting with an array of food outlets, three shops and the gem in the crown the 'Under the Pier Show'; a showroom of brilliantly bonkers machines made by Tim Hunkins exclusively for The Pier. To complete the hat trick of a Suffolk weekend, Kerry checks in to The Angel Hotel set in an open square opposite the Benedictine Abbey, just moments away from the town's shops...
