TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award 2012 - Top Trendiest Hotels in the UK 

The Travellers' Choice Award is the highest honour a hotel can receive from TripAdvisor, they are based on the reviews and opinions of our guests and we are delighted to have won.

Best Large Hotel East of England Awards for Excellence 2010
The Salthouse Harbour Hotel were delighted to win the category 'Best Large Hotel' at the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2010, held at The West Wing, Ickworth on Thursday 4th November.

The Enjoy England Awards for Excellence are recognised as the premier awards for the tourism industry. The regional awards highlight the quality of the tourism industry in the eastern region (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk).

Robert Gough said " We have just celebrated our first year of the New Salthouse Harbour Hotel and this is the best birthday present we could have received!"

AA 4 Red Stars
The Salthouse was awarded the 4 Red Stars by the AA - their highest accolade - in September 2010 In their words, it means the hotel, "stands out as the very best in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, regardless of style".

Robert Gough said "staff and managers alike are delighted with this award. It only inspires us to further improve what we offer at the hotel!"

'Best Large Hotel in Suffolk' at the Tourism in Suffolk Awards 2010
The Salthouse Harbour Hotel were delighted to win the category 'Best Large Hotel in Suffolk' at the Tourism in Suffolk Awards held at Trinity Park on Thursday 9th September. This award is aimed at hotels and townhouses with more than 35 bedrooms. The emphasis was on quality and impeccable standards of accommodation and service.

Robert Gough said "I am delighted that the hard work of the Salthouse team has been rewarded in this way. Awards mean nothing without our guests enjoying their stay, however it is nice to get a pat on the back from our industry every now and then!"
