Job Description: Hotel Receptionist
Your main responsibility is to exceed customer expectations and go above and beyond to provide the best customer service possible. If you follow this principle - you will exceed in your role! However, a breakdown of key responsibilities includes:
- Greeting and welcoming guests to the hotel in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest requests and complaints, escalating issues as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and transactions
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Bilingual skills (English and another language) highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using hotel reservation systems or similar software is a plus
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is beneficial
Working hours include 5 days a week on a rota basis to include weekends and evenings. Shifts range from 6.30am-3pm to 2.30pm-11pm with the occasional 10am-6pm shift over the weekend. Part time applications will also be considered.
