Salthouse is a British Brasserie and Bar on Ipswich waterfront, offering casual luxury and all-day dining with warm, genuine hospitality. Inspired by Europe’s grand cafés and the character of our waterfront surroundings, the brasserie celebrates familiar dishes rooted firmly in British cooking.
Signature dishes include the seasonally changing Orwell Pie, the Salthouse Fishcake, Proctor’s sausages with silky mash and ‘too much gravy’, and our soon-to-be-famous soft serve ice cream.
The space is bold, modern and vibrant – confident and welcoming from the moment guests arrive. Behind it all is an experienced, locally rooted team passionate about Ipswich and excited to help lead the town’s food and drink scene forward.
