Wine Wars

We welcome a brand new series of events this July.

Join well-known local wine expert Ed “The Wine Man” Keith alongside The Salthouse’s Shane Smith for an evening of exceptional food, carefully chosen wines and just a little friendly competition.

Guests will enjoy Champagne on arrival, followed by a specially designed four-course menu, with two competing wine pairings presented throughout the evening – one selected by Shane, the other by Ed.

After each course, guests will vote for the pairing they felt worked best by holding up the relevant paddle, before an overall winner is crowned at the end of the night.

Expect some incredible food, superb wines, plenty of laughs and the warm, atmospheric hospitality the Salthouse is known for!
